At Capital School, students are encouraged to develop a healthy and physically active lifestyle that extends beyond their time at school. Our specialist physical education teachers use skill, motivation and imagination to make healthy living inspiring and enjoyable.
Physical activities promote healthy growth and development. They help build a healthier body composition, stronger bones and encourage muscle development. This also improves the child’s cardiovascular fitness and overall health. Physical activities also help in the development of better motor skills, as well as concentration and thinking skills.
All students have a timetabled PE lesson. From FS2 to Year 9, students have a timetabled swimming lesson each week. We also offer a wide of sports, including cricket, basketball, football, hockey, swimming, yoga and gymnastics.
