CEO AND SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM

CEO

Dr Pablo is an experienced educational leader with a track record of growing and improving schools. Previously, he was the CEO for Kings’ Educatio

n, the operator of some of the most prestigious schools in the Middle East. Before this role, he was the CEO and board member of a subsidiary of GEMS Education, where he was instrumental in building GEMS’ international footprint both through joint ventures for new green-field initiatives and through acquisitions of existing schools.

He has over two decades of experience in business development and investments, and has been a valued member of 10 Boards of Directors. Dr Pablo has had the pleasure of living in 7 different countries in 3 continents, and is fluent in 4 languages! From 2019, he has been the CEO of Capital School where, as part of a dedicated team, who continue to strive for the highest standards of education with 100% British trained teachers.

Principal

Daniel Sutton completed a Bachelor of Education Honours Degree in 1996, and the National Professional Qualification for Headteachers (NPQH) in 2008 and has been an educator for over 25 years.

Daniel has a strong and successful background as a Principal, Executive Headteacher as well as Headteacher of schools with age ranges from 3 to 25 across the Middle East and UK.
He has a proven track record of rapid and sustained school improvement, in which he has created a culture where all stakeholders are ambitious, have very high expectations both of themselves and of those around them.

Daniel would describe himself as a person defined by enthusiasm, one who is willing to use his initiative and drive, in tandem with the Capital School team to ensure that excellent practice is shared and embedded at all levels, thus creating an unwavering belief that every Capital School child has a world class education that is tailored to them.

Vice Principal & Head of Primary

Jasmit has been a part of British education for the last 20 years. Her experience has primarily been within National Curriculum schools in the North of England where she has taught across Key Stage 1 and 2.

Within that time, teaching in the UK, Jasmit has held a number of leadership positions including: Head of Year 6 and Year 4, History and RE Leader, Head of Mathematics, Leader of Diversity, SENDCo, Head of Key Stage 1 and part of the SLT team. Moving to Dubai in 2013, she moved to a Deputy Head position working for six years being part of a strong and dynamic leadership team which moved the school from a “Good” to a “Very Good KHDA rating”. During this time, Jasmit had also completed a Masters in Educational Leadership and Management. This year, she is very excited to be the Head of Primary at Capital School, where she hopes to build on her success to ensure Capital School delivers the highest academic standards for all children.

Outside of school, Jasmit enjoys boxing and weight training which allows her to feel energized after work hours! She also enjoys spending time with her two sons taking part in sports and music. Jasmit has a real passion for “The Arts” in particular dance, music and drawing. This is currently a curriculum area which she works hard to develop in primary education and would like to pursue further in the future.

Head of Early Years

Danielle is extremely passionate about Early Years education and believes that facilitating effective child-led play is how young children thrive during their first few years in school. She has a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and National Professional Qualification in Middle Leadership. She has taught in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 which means that she has a secure understanding of where the children start their educational journey and where they are heading.

Throughout her career she has taught in the UK, Japan, and the UAE; Danielle has held many leadership roles in this time such as: Co-ordinator for Outdoor Learning and Environmental Education, Early Years Data Coach, Head of Year and Head of Early Years.

Deputy Head of Primary

Simon has been working in schools for the last 14 years in the UK, UAE and Asia. He has held several leadership positions: English as an Additional Language Subject Leader, Head of Year, Lead Practitioner and Deputy Head of Primary. Simon has a BA (Honours) Degree in History and Teaching English as a Foreign Language, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, a Master’s Degree in Education – Leadership and Management and a National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership.

At Capital School, Simon leads the development of children’s language skills, supports the facilitation of inquiry-based learning and promotes the use of technology, so children have authentic, purposeful and engaging learning opportunities. He is passionate about school improvement and proud to have supported his previous school to raise its KHDA rating from Good to Very Good.

Outside of school, Simon enjoys learning to play the piano, running, swimming and researching educational leadership. In 2019, he presented his research paper at the British Educational Leadership, Management and Administration Society Annual Conference in the UK.

Deputy Head of Secondary

Ms. Camille has an exemplary track-record of leading students to Outstanding GCSE success in the subject area of English, both in the UK and in Dubai. Furthermore, she was instrumental in helping a student to achieve ‘Top in the UAE’ for English as a Second Language. Her expertise has been further acknowledged by the Oxford AQA exam board who have credited her as ‘an exceptional teacher’, and for whom she now acts as an ambassador, supporting other teachers and schools.

Ms. Camille’s experience includes leadership across KS3, KS4, and KS5 in three countries, and her current role at Capital School is Deputy Headteacher of Secondary, with responsibility for Primary and Secondary English.
