I am thoroughly excited and grateful for the opportunity to work in Capital School. I obtained my B.A. Hons in Primary Teaching from Trinity Saint David University, Wales in 2014 and began full time work immediately after graduating. Since then I have gone on to work a variety of different roles which include Year 1, Year 3 and Year 5 Teacher as well as covering ICT and PE for all of Key Stage 2. Having all of these opportunities has allowed me to gain a valuable insight into how children learn across a variety of age ranges. I hold a firm belief that for children to learn they have to be happy in school. Therefore I aim to provide a learning environment which is both formative and fun. I look forward to helping the school grow and further develop my teaching career here.

Having successfully graduated in Newcastle UK, I have been successfully teaching in the early years in UK primary schools. Although recent teaching experience has been with Foundation Stage students, I have experience and confidence across the primary age range. With regards to recent changes in the English National curriculum, I have had training at university in these developments. University gave me many opportunities with extensive placements to experience the vast variety of responsibility, social backgrounds and needs of teaching children.
